FROZEN HOAGIES  SWEET SHOP in Somerville, MA This is a place i've been dying to get to since I heard about it. I mean, they make their own ice-cream cookie sandwiches! Amongst my memories of high school, the ones that haven't been necessarily repressed, are Chip-whiches. Two soft chocolate chip cookies clamped down on either side of a vanilla ice cream patty. This was my treat of choice quite often. I've had decent ones at restaurants in the years since, but a place where that's their SPECIALITY? We'll see. So the deal is: you choose your cookies, and you choose your 2 scoops of ice cream, and they slap it all together for you. Listen, at this point, nobody out there is surprised to see another Oreo review from the gang at Fatguyfoodblog. At this point we have reviewed so many that we have to review ALL of them. But after my last review I saw something online and I vowed to talk about it before the next Oreo review. Every time I start thinking it's been a while since I've seen a new Ben & Jerry's flavor, I end up looking in the freezer section the next time I'm in a supermarket and end up finding one. That's exactly what happened with their new limited batch, Peanut Butter & Cookies. I had just gotten done talking to one of the fellow writers of this very website when this one jumped out at me and you can bet I bought it without a second thought!  Sounds so good, right? Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter & Cookies boasts Sweet Cream Ice cream with chocolate sandwich cookies and a crunchy peanut butter swirl. Remember a couple years ago when Hostess went under and everyone under the sun started freaking out because they wouldn't be able to get their favorite Hostess snacks anymore? It was kind of ridiculous. If you haven't bought a Twinkie in ten years, you probably won't miss them. I know I wouldn't. But what would I miss? Those delicious Hostess chocolate cupcakes. Sure, I might only have one once or twice a year, but they are a classic childhood treat that I like to revisit. Other than them being miniature, the recipe seems to have stayed the same.  Well, a new year has begun, and if I was a betting man, I would have bet that we'd get a new Oreo cookie before the end of January.  If only someone was willing to take that action, because I rolled up to my local supermarket the other day only to be faced a huge display of Red Velvet ( Which are back for a limited time, but who cares because we reviewed them last year ), and...THESE: I snatched a package off of the display so quick you would have thought my name was Barry Allen.  I was in such a hurry to buy them and get out of there that I forgot I was on foot and had no bag. Hot cocoa is kind of a weird flavoring that has gotten more and more popular over the past few years. I mean, as cocoa, it's always been popular, right? But recently we've seen companies make hot cocoa (or hot chocolate, whichever way you say it) start using this as it's own stand alone flavor. What happens when little cookie making elves who live in trees decide to team up with one of the biggest peanut butter companies? We would hope a damn good peanut butter cookie, of some sort, right? Well when I saw these Keebler Jif cookies in the store, I snatched a package up so quick that you would have had to film it with a phantom camera and replay it in super slow motion to see it happen. I barely got home without ripping the package going and I'll be honest, it was just because I was scared I was going to rip the package and not be able to take a picture for this blog.  THAT IS DEDICATION, MY FRIENDS!  But let's take a look at the new Keebler Jif Cookies!  On the package, Ernie the leader of the Keelber Elves lets us know that these cookies are simply, fudge, peanut butter and crunchy nuts.
